Deeply committed to safeguarding India's traditional performing arts, she has travelled extensively to rural communities, working directly with practitioners of endangered folk traditions such as Gamaka, Kolata, and Bayalata. Spending extended periods in villages, she has trained and mentored aspiring artists, helping preserve these invaluable art forms for future generations.

Inspired by the timeless literary treasures of the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavata, and Panchatantra, she has written, composed, and produced numerous musical dramas and short plays for children. Through these productions, she has introduced young audiences to India's literary, musical, and theatrical traditions while nurturing an enduring appreciation for the nation's cultural heritage.

Her commitment to education extends far beyond the concert platform. Through her Nagamani Srinath Online Gurukula, she has made over 500 hours of structured Carnatic music instruction freely available on YouTube, ensuring that quality music education remains accessible to learners around the world. Likewise, the Sunaada Cultural Centre continues to provide comprehensive music education entirely free of charge, reflecting her unwavering commitment to the traditional guru–shishya ideal of selfless transmission of knowledge.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Nagamani Srinath rendered significant humanitarian service by providing financial assistance through her personal resources and the Sunaada Cultural Trust to more than 300 artists affected by the crisis. In addition to monetary support, she helped meet medical expenses and provided food and other essential assistance, offering timely relief to members of the artistic community during an unprecedented period of hardship.

Her philanthropic work also includes sponsoring the education of underprivileged students pursuing school and college education. Characteristically, these charitable initiatives have been carried out quietly and without publicity, reflecting her conviction that service is most meaningful when rendered selflessly.
